Qualifications for Substitute Teaching in Morgan County, Illinois
Step 1 - Licensure
Substitute Teacher- Must have a valid Professional Educator License or Substitute Educator License issued by the State of Illinois and registered in Morgan County.
Substitute Paraprofessional- Must have a valid Paraprofessional License issued by the State of Illinois and registered in Morgan County.
Note*
- If you hold a Paraprofessional License and have a Bachelor’s Degree on file, you are qualified to be a substitute teacher.
Step 2 - Registration

Step 3 - Application Process for Substitutes in JSD117- The following are required documents that need to be submitted in person at 211 West State Street in Jacksonville.
